How to use this tool
The idea

The oracle is the engine of solo RPG play. Every question you ask is a decision the universe makes for you — and the answers drive your story forward. Solo roleplaying without an oracle means making every decision yourself. The oracle gives you a collaborator who has no agenda, no favourites, and no mercy.

Quick start
  • 1Type a yes/no question about your current scene — Does the guard notice me? Is the chest trapped? Does she believe me?
  • 2Hit Consult. Get your answer in seconds.
Going deeper

Add context to a yes/no question and the oracle turns its answer into a story. Without context, you get raw word fragments — 4 to 6 atmospheric scraps you interpret yourself. Learn to read both.

The Likely/Unlikely toggle shifts the odds without removing the possibility. Open Question is for when you want the oracle to describe what happens, not just confirm it. Complication drops something unexpected into a scene going too smoothly. Explore the other types as you need them.

Different tones transform every answer. The same question sounds completely different depending on the style you choose. Try them as your game changes genre or mood.

Already playing a self-contained game?

Even if your game handles its own outcomes, the Oracle adds a creative layer on top. Use it to ask questions your rules don’t answer — what does the NPC really want, what happens in the shadows between scenes, what does fate have in store. Your game tells you what happened. The Oracle helps you discover why.

Your key is stored locally and never sent anywhere except Anthropic. Get a free key here.
